EMURL.LINK is a lightweight link shortening service created alongside the Entropia Museum project. It exists to make sharing long URLs easier by converting them into short, memorable links.
The tool was originally developed alongside the Entropia Museum project as a simple way to share archive pages, screenshots, and historical references across social media and community platforms.
While it started as a companion tool for Entropia Museum, EMURL.LINK is designed to work with any website or community. Anyone can generate a short link and share it anywhere.
When you create a short link, the system stores the destination URL and generates a simple slug. When someone visits the short link, they are redirected instantly to the original page.
Each link also records a basic click count so you can see how many times it has been used.
EMURL.LINK intentionally avoids unnecessary complexity. There are no advertisements, pop-ups, or tracking scripts placed between the visitor and the destination page. Links redirect directly and immediately.
